Premium, fairly priced
The highest standard.Without the markup.
A premium remodel shouldn't need a luxury budget. Our prices are fair because of how we work — never because we cut corners.
- 01
One team, one markup
Design and build under one roof. You're not paying a separate designer and a general contractor, each with their own margin on top.
- 02
Planned, so nothing is wasted
Every detail is decided and priced before work starts — no surprise change orders, no crews waiting on missing materials.
- 03
Your budget where it shows
We help you spend on what you see and touch every day, and save where it doesn't show — never on how it's built.
Every line item visible, and the price never moves.
What we build
Every room,one standard.
From fresh paint and new lighting to the whole house, inside and out — one design-build team from first sketch to final walkthrough.
Our work · Before & after
Room by room,the same standard.
Real rooms from real MAYVOK projects — no renderings, no borrowed photos. Tap through them.

A spare bedroom turned into a guest kitchen — and the window replaced with sliding doors to the backyard.
The MAYVOK Standard
Six promises.In writing.
Most remodels go wrong before the first wall comes down — vague bids, missing details, a schedule nobody wrote down. That's why these commitments are part of every MAYVOK agreement — not a sales pitch, a contract.
- 01
A price guarantee
A detailed, line-by-line proposal, and the price we sign is the price you pay. If we miss something in our estimate, we cover it — the price changes only when you ask for a change.
- 02
One project manager
One person who knows your home, answers your calls and runs your project from the first day to the final walkthrough.
- 03
A written schedule
Start date, milestones and completion date on paper before any work begins — so you can plan your life around it.
- 04
A clean home, every day
Floors protected, dust contained, tools put away at the end of each day. You still live here, and we never forget it.
- 05
Photo updates, your way
Progress photos and a short report on the schedule you choose — daily if you like — whether you're home, at work or out of town.

Questions
Good questions,straight answers.
How much will my remodel cost?
Every home and every scope is different, so we don't publish prices — but our pricing is built to be fair. One design-build team means no stacked markups, and planning everything up front means no surprise change orders. After your consultation you receive a detailed proposal with every line item visible — and the price is guaranteed: the price we sign is the price you pay.
What if something unexpected comes up?
If it's something we should have caught, it's on us — that's our price guarantee. Truly hidden conditions, like damage inside a wall no one could see before opening it, are rare. If we find one, we stop, show you, and price the fix in writing before doing anything. Nothing is ever added without your signature.
Is my project big enough for you?
Yes — from painting a few rooms or adding lighting to remodeling the whole house, we'd like to hear about it. We take on a limited number of projects each year, so at the consultation we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit — and if we're not, we'll say so.
How long will my project take?
It depends on scope, materials and permits. Before work begins you get a written schedule with a start date, milestones and a completion date, and your project manager keeps you updated as often as you like — daily if you prefer.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. We pull the required permits, coordinate inspections and make sure the work is documented properly for your home's records.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — licensed and bonded, with general liability and workers' compensation coverage. Certificates of insurance and client references are available on request.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Sacramento and take on projects across Northern California — Greater Sacramento, the Sierra foothills and Lake Tahoe, wine country, the Bay Area, the Central Valley and the North State. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask.
Can we stay in the house during the remodel?
Usually, yes. We protect floors and furniture, contain dust and clean up at the end of every day. For larger projects we'll plan the sequence with you so the home stays livable.
Can you work on our home while we're away?
Yes. Whether it's a second home in Tahoe or you're simply at work all day, you get photo updates on the schedule you choose — daily if you like — and your project manager is always one call away. You'll never have to wonder what happened today.
Do you help with design and material selection?
Yes. We're a design-build firm — layout, materials and finishes are designed with you as part of the proposal, then built by the same team. We're also happy to work alongside your own designer or architect.
Is the design consultation free?
Yes. Your design consultation is complimentary and comes with no obligation. We visit your home, talk through your goals and explain the next steps.
